Mission Statement
The Scatterlings of Africa is a Club for Expat South Africans who would like to meet fellow Saffers to Socialise and Network in their new Home country.
Vision
The Scatterlings of Africa Club is located in Portugal. We created the Club with a Vision for SA Expats to participate in Club Activities and Events for their Cultural benefit and to find a Safe Space where New Arrivals can find Comfort and Joy in their New Home Country.
Ultimately, the Scatterlings Club wishes to provide a community for Saffers of all South African heritages and a place where they can celebrate their Heritage while adapting to their new surroundings.
Club Members
The Scatterlings of Africa Club Membership will entitle the holder to
- Attend Exclusive Club Events
- Access to Exclusive Content on the Scatterlings of Africa WebSite
- Receive “Special Offers” via the Club Card (When Available)
- Receive preferential treatment booking Events.
Values
The Scatterlings of Africa Club encourages All Members to remember the Past, while not forgetting the Current & Future years of Saffers throughout the World. The Scatterlings of Africa Club has NO Political, Religious or Ethnicity Bias and Welcomes ALL Saffers and their Descendants to Join the Club.
Goals
The Scatterlings of Africa Club will create:
- A Website for its Club Members which also will include a proportion of information to Non-Club Members
- On-going Activities & Events whereby Saffers can Meet, Network, Socialise and have fun together and speak their common Languages
- A ‘Club Card’ for the Benefit of the Members to Support & Receive benefits from Local ‘Scatterlings of Africa Club’ Business’s and Supporters of the Club
- To Help Members with the process of Integrating into their Chosen Country
- To Celebrate all that is means to be a Proud South African Expat
